Henry Schein's "Practice Pink" program

Camlog in Switzerland continues to support Henry Schein's "Practice Pink" program in the campaign against cancer in 2023

Practice Pink has raised more than $1.9 million in 17 years for programs that support cancer patients and their families.

Henry Schein, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSIC) announced the launch of the Practice Pink® program for this year in early October. The initiative has raised more than $1.9 million over the past 17 years to support nonprofit organizations dedicated to cancer research and prevention.

Practice Pink is a worldwide initiative of Henry Schein Cares, the company's global corporate social responsibility program. Through Practice Pink, Henry Schein partners with non-governmental organizations and suppliers across North America and Europe to support dental and medical professionals in raising awareness for the prevention and cure of breast cancer and other cancers.

As part of its participation in the Pink Practice program, the Basel headquarters of CAMLOG Biotechnologies GmbH, part of Henry Schein, Inc. has once again made a strong commitment to supporting children with cancer. To this end, the company organized a new edition of "PINK FLOWER DAY", an initiative where Camlog team members could purchase pink flower bouquets or donate money during the first three weeks of October to support the Practice Pink program on a local level. All proceeds will benefit the projects and initiatives of the Basel Foundation for Children with Cancer www.stiftung-kinderkrebs.ch/videoportraits/.

Worldwide, the Practice Pink program supports renowned organizations, including in the US the American Cancer Society, Northwell Health's Cohen Children's Medical Center and Stony Brook Children's Hospital, as well as ALADINA (Spain), Cancer Research UK, KiKa (Netherlands), LILT (Italy), Odyssea (France) and others.

"At Henry Schein, we firmly believe that public-private partnerships can contribute to a healthier world, and the Henry Schein Cares Practice Pink program exemplifies that belief," said Maureen Knott, Vice President U.S. Supplier Initiatives, Henry Schein and President of the Henry Schein Cares Foundation. "With the dedication and generosity of our suppliers and customers, we will continue our commitment to cancer research and prevention and work together for a world where cancer is no longer a threat."
