MinerOss™ XP and MinerOss™ X

Both the ingrowth of surrounding bone tissue and the promotion of the development of low differentiated progenitor cells in bone cells are to be supported by a bone substitute material. The chemical, physical, and mechanical properties are important characteristics of a bone substitute material and define its suitability for clinical application.

MinerOss™ XP

MinerOss™ XP is an anorganic porcine bone mineral matrix designed for bone grafting. Its high porosity results in an optimal osteoconductivity and also provides adequate space for new bone buildup.

MinerOss™ XP is used for alveolar ridge preservation and sinus augmentations, in extraction socket management, and for infrabony periodontal defects. It is available in two different grain sizes and different ampoule contents: small cancellous bone granules in sizes 0.25, 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 cm³, and large granules in sizes 1.0 and 2.0 cm³.

MinerOss™ X

MinerOss™ X is an inorganic bovine bone mineral matrix that is comparable to the mineral structure of human bone tissue. MinerOss™ X is available as cortical or cancellous bone granules as well as in block form with the addition of 5% bovine collagen. The complex trabecular architecture and natural structure are designed for ideal bone formation and remodeling at the defect site.

The MinerOss™ X range is used for extraction sockets, alveolar ridge enhancement, and sinus augmentations. It is available in two different grain sizes and different ampoule contents: small cancellous bone granules in sizes 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 4 cm3 and large granules in sizes 1.1 cm3, 2,2 cm3 and 4,4 cm3.

The blocks of the MinerOss™ X Collagen are available in the following sizes: 10×11×12 mm, 8×9×9 mm, and 6×7×8 mm.
